We Are Here
Since the acquisition of our house less than one year ago, we have made significant progress in this first phase of our development. Thanks to the many renovations of dedicated volunteers and donors, we have been able to successfully manage our clothing thrift store and almost daily tamale sales, and provide ample space to host many of our outreach efforts.
More renovations are still needed to complete this phase and to be able to provide overnight care. It is a costly, highly regulated, and time-consuming process, but we are diligent and remain optimistic about our eventual success in reaching this goal.
In the meanwhile, we are actively focused on developing and expanding our community outreach programs, which include services that provide children with access to public education, nutritious meals, hygiene, dental, and psychological interventions when needed. For these services, we need a large reliable vehicle for transportation and funds for the costs of school clothing, books, and materials.
